Dr Mark McCall has recently secured a Vice-Chancellor Lectureship at Loughborough University based in The Wolfson School of Mechanical, Manufacturing and Electrical Engineering.  Prior to this, Mark completed his PhD at Loughborough University as part of the EPSRC Doctoral Training Centre in Regenerative Medicine.  His research addressed the prediction and reduction of cell therapy cost of goods and regenerative medicine manufacturing technology. In 2013 he was awarded an Impact Acceleration Award fellowship through the Loughborough University Enterprise Office to further develop a novel bioreactor technology designed during his PhD.  Mark has a degree in physics with medical physics obtained from Queen’s University, Belfast.
